Wisdo offers different types of support to help members feel connected and supported. The three main roles you may encounter are Guides, Helpers, and Coaches, each with a different purpose.
Guides
Guides are Wisdo staff members who help members navigate their experience on Wisdo. They may check in with you, encourage participation in the community, and help you discover helpful resources such as groups, conversations, or coaching sessions. Their role is to make sure you feel welcomed, supported, and able to get the most out of the platform.
Helpers
Helpers are community members who completed Wisdo’s Helper training and earned a Helper Badge. They offer peer support based on shared experiences, listening, encouraging others, and sometimes reaching out through 1:1 messages. Helpers are not professionals, but they are trained in supportive communication and community guidelines.
Coaches
Coaches are vetted and trained professionals who lead structured group coaching sessions. They help members learn practical skills for improving well-being, such as building healthy habits, managing stress, strengthening relationships, and developing confidence and purpose.
Together, these roles create a layered support system where members can receive guidance, peer connection, and structured coaching to support their well-being.
